Our Services
At Ontario Flute Centre, we offer a comprehensive range of services to meet all your flute-related needs. From flute repair and maintenance plans to educational resources, we have you covered.
C.O.A
Clean, Oil & Adjust
Clean: We disassemble your flute (including unpinning the stacks), remove old oil, and thoroughly clean and polish the body and keys.
Oil: We re-oil the mechanism and reassemble your flute to ensure smooth operation.
Adjust: We fine-tune the mechanism so that the keys function in perfect harmony.
Why This Service?
Think of this as an oil change for your flute. Just as car oil keeps your engine running smoothly and prevents costly repairs, proper oiling of your flute protects and preserves its mechanism. Over time, oil can degrade, leading to mechanical issues and potential additional costs.

Student Flutes
Found an old flute in the closet? Looking to get your old high school flute tuned up? Unfortunately, I do not stock student line pads. An overhaul with the most economical pads I carry would be in the $700.00 to $800.00 range. Many local retailers have shops that cater to school band instruments. If you would like to have your flute repaired for sentimental reasons, I would be happy to do so! For referrals to local retailers who specialize in student flute repair, please contact us.
Appraisals
Most insurance companies simply require a quote for the replacement cost, which you can get from a retailer or the manufacturer. Some of the manufacturers have a hyperlink for appraisals on their websites. If your model is no longer in production, a quote from a retailer or the manufacturer for a current model with the same features and material without downgrading any features will be acceptable.
If your insurance company requires a third party appraisal, or if your instrument is no longer in production, simple appraisals start at $50.00+HST. More complicated appraisals can go up to $100.00+HST.
Starting at $50/hour
